Since its development 20years ago, the Karon bearing liner system has been repeatedly selected for use in the most demanding aviation and marine applications.

Noted for its high performance and low wear rate, Karon has become an ideal replacement for teflon fabric-lined bearings. Its performance has proven superior in provinding longer life and withstanding high moisture environments, elevated temperatures, and contamination.

Qualified to MIL-B-81820 and other aviation military specifications, Karon is used in thousands of locations in jet aircraft, helicopters, ships, and selected industrial applications. It is a polyester, thermosetting, resin-based material, incorporating teflon particles, which can be tailored to meet specific performance requirements.
